We have the experience, equipment and creativity to provide you with the professional portfolio you need to pursue your modeling career with confidence and success.
A large part of your future success can be attributed to a dynamic, high energy modeling portfolio that markets what you have to offer in terms of your range and type. It is your most important marketing tool as a model.
It is an investment in yourself and in your career. A terrific looking portfolio demonstrates your level of commitment and abilities to those who see it. Consider models who have experienced success with their careers. They are going to have a really great looking portfolio. Chances are...they had a great portfolio before they ever landed their first gig! They know how important it is. Having a professional looking portfolio has a lot to do with their success. You will be competing with models who take their portfolio and careers very seriously!

If you are new to the industry, we will provide everything you need in your portfolio to get started. If you are an experienced model, and need to update your existing portfolio with any current looks, wardrobe or accessories you may have in mind, we are always willing to work with you to make improvements in your portfolio; that includes any ideas you may have for studio or location shoots as well as discounted rates! MODELING PORTFOLIO RATES
MALE AND FEMALE FASHION MODELS who are just starting out and are serious about investing in their careers; our full package, model's portfolio session is only $925 and includes everything you need to get work!
(Update rates are available for experienced Models with an existing portfolio - see UPDATES below)
1) Session fee.....includes studio or *location (*some restrictions may apply)
2) Basic Beauty Make up Application
One Additional Look - add $75 to $150 - Hair - add $75 to $150 (Prices on make up can vary)
3) Choose from up to 500 exposures in COLOR and B&W (100+ captures per wardrobe ensemble)
4) A four to six hour session day
5) A total of five wardrobe changes or combinations, (using your personal wardrobe)
6) Several in-studio setups or locations for entire shoot (location shoots are time permitting)
7) Personal online proof gallery to review your session results and make your selections
8) Ready-to-print high resolution files of your favorites on disc
(Limit: Three best from each wardrobe category - fully retouched)
9) Master headshot print AND TEN professional size 11x14 prints (two from each wardrobe selection) in a portfolio book with extra pages for you to continue building your portfolio
10) Your three favorites from each wardrobe category will also be provided as web resolution images for use on your modeling website or your agent's talent profile web site
11) Composite or comp card design service is available for an additional $50 design fee
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT WARDROBE CHOICES FOR YOUR SESSION:
Remember, in most cases, you work where you live. Try to keep your wardrobe choices consistent with the kind of work your intended market area has to offer. If in doubt, ask your agent to insure what you wear for your portfolio session works for you and the market you intend to work in.
For a complete modeling session like ours.....including session, make up, your selected images on disc, prints, studio shoot plus the option of locations, touch ups and name formatting, NY and LA photographers will charge more than triple our fee for a similar package.
Again, this special, all inclusive package is only $925!
*SPECIAL LOCATIONS, such as a luxury hotel room with antique furnishings, will involve additional expenses; all related expenses for location shoots will be the responsibility of the client. If client wants the photographer to book the location, the total amount will be added to the deposit to cover cancellations.
ALREADY HAVE A FULL PORTFOLIO AND NEED AN UPDATE?
MINI MODELING SESSIONS are available for experienced models at $350 and include, three wardrobe changes, three hours, studio or location, online proof gallery and six full resolution, edited and retouched images on disc to use in your portfolio, web page or for your comp card. Prints are available at 50% off our regular rates. ****Be sure to bring your book so we discuss your needs more effectively.
(Locations for mini-sessions in uptown area only; all locations are subject to photographer approval)
UPDATE SESSIONS $250: If you are an experienced model and just need to update your portfolio with a couple of new looks, updates to your portfolio start at only $250 and will include two changes, two hours, studio or location, online proof gallery and four full resolution, edited and retouched images on disc to use in your portfolio. (Two best from each wardrobe) Prints are available at 50% off our regular rates.
SUPER EXPRESS MINI SESSION $195: One wardrobe, one hour, one hundred shots, on line proof gallery, your best three poses on disc in high-resolution JPG format. (Studio Only)
Make up and hair are not included with mini sessions, updates or express sessions. You provide your own wardrobe.
IMPORTANT: To make your modeling portfolio as dynamic and versatile as possible, we recommend that you be fully prepared to execute a full range of posing techniques that compliment your wardrobe and body type. We are photographers, not modeling instructors. We can guide you and direct you to some extent during your session but it is your responsibility to be prepared to do what is expected of you in your chosen career and that is, model. We suggest you spend at least twenty minutes a day in front of the mirror during the week leading up to your shoot. Practice your posing technique! Practice expressions! Know what an attractive pose feels like so you can replicate it in front of the camera and without a mirror. You should avoid doing "hands on hips" poses for every shot!!! Be prepared to go beyond the ordinary. Practice, practice, practice; don't rob yourself of session time by not knowing how to pose. Your body is your instrument; learn to use it as well as a professional musician uses a musical instrument.
NOTE: If you want specialty, glamour or high fashion avant garde make up for your session, we recommend you consult with a professional make up artist and hair stylist of your choosing and according to your needs. Many make up artists often book up to two or three weeks in advance; be sure to allow yourself enough time if you schedule someone you know! If you want us to schedule specialty make up, an additional fee will apply and advanced notice as well as deposit is still required. No matter which of us contracts the make up artist, for the best results, we strongly encourage our clients to always communicate with the make up artist. It is your responsibility to be sure she or he knows exactly what you have in mind.
If we hire you for a paid concept shoot, your make up and hair design will be provided.
Locations are recommended by modeling photographer but we are always open to your suggestions. Outdoor shoots are subject to weather conditions and may be rescheduled at the discretion of the photographer in the event of inclement weather. Additional or unusual location requests made by client may incur an additional fee such as travel fee or security fee depending on location. Special locations that require a fee, will be the responsibility of the model. NOTE: Fashion models getting full package....Your final selections (three from each wardrobe category), your headshot and composite will be burned to disc as high-res, ready to print files that are color corrected, cropped and touched up as needed and ready for your reproduction service provider. Two 11x14 master prints from each of your five wardrobe categories plus master prints of headshot and composite will be provided in a soft cover portfolio book with lots of additional pages to continue building your portfolio with updates and tear sheets. Additional prints from your session are available at our standard print rates.
(Mini modeling sessions do not include prints.)
NOTE: While one custom designed composite or comp card is optional at $50 with the full package, any additional composite designs with your choice of images will incur a design fee of $75 for each composite...(includes production guideline print).
NOTE: WE DO NOT PROVIDE DISCS WITH ALL OF YOUR SESSION IMAGES. We only provide your absolute best image selections based on what is detailed in the package and what you selected. CONSIDER THIS, if an image does not represent you at your absolute BEST, you really DON'T want to use it in your book or on the web. However, If you want a CD with additional full size internet resolution images of your best poses for use on your modeling web site, prices are based on quantity. (Limit twenty-five selections)
